Today, Lviv Oblast bids farewell to another defender — Yaroslav Volovyk, a resident of the village of Sasiv in the Zolochiv District. He took up arms to defend the country on 9th October 2024.
Yaroslav served in military unit A4447, and previously in military unit A4832. Sadly, on 27th December 2024, he was killed in action while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Kurakhove in the Pokrovsk District of Donetsk Oblast. The defender was 41 years old.
