The Mobilization Work Department informs that according to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Military Duty and Military Service’, male youths born in 2009 are required to register in 2026. **The law sets a strict deadline** – from January 1 to July 31, 2026. Registration can be done in person or through the ‘Reserve+’ app, which allows compliance with legal requirements remotely. The law provides exceptions for citizens who are not subject to registration: individuals serving sentences or those subjected to compulsory medical measures.
Valid reasons for late registration include health conditions, natural disasters, or being in occupied territories.
