Among the 103 Ukrainian servicemen who were returned as part of the latest prisoner exchange is a resident of the village of Mezhyrichchia, Ivan Kupyrianov. The defender is 40 years old.
Ivan Kupyrianov served as a private, a grenadier in the 3rd mechanised battalion of military unit A4674 of the 117th Separate Heavy Mechanised Brigade. He was taken prisoner in May 2024 near the village of Preobrazhenka in Zaporizhzhia region.
The soldier’s return home brought great joy to his family and fellow villagers, who had been waiting for news of the defender’s release.
