A further 103 Ukrainian service personnel freed from Russian captivity

A further 103 Ukrainian service personnel have returned home from Russian captivity. Among those released are fighters who served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard.

The defenders took part in the defence of Mariupol and carried out combat missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro and Sumy sectors.

The statement emphasises gratitude to the President of Ukraine, international partners and everyone involved in organising this exchange. It also highlights the role of Ukrainian soldiers who are replenishing the exchange pool and thereby making further releases of prisoners possible.

The authors of the appeal express the hope that, in time, every Ukrainian family will see their loved ones return home from captivity.
