Death of Roman Seniuk from Velyki Mosty Confirmed by DNA Analysis

With deep sorrow, the Velyki Mosty community announces the loss of its native son — Roman Andriyovych Seniuk, born in 1994, a resident of Velyki Mosty, who gave his life defending Ukraine.

Faithful to his military oath and devoted to protecting his homeland, Roman courageously carried out combat duties in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom and independence. He had been considered missing in action since October 17, 2024. For months, his family held onto hope, prayed, and waited for his return. Unfortunately, a recent DNA test confirmed that Roman had died.

This is an irreparable loss for his parents — he was their only son — and for everyone who knew him. The entire community expresses its deepest condolences and shares in their grief. The memory of this Hero will forever live in the hearts of the people of Velyki Mosty.

Roman Seniuk will be laid to rest in his hometown. All residents are urged to come and pay their respects:

Funeral Procession Schedule — Tuesday, December 16:

  • 09:00 — Arrival in the village of Turynka

  • Approx. 09:20 — Arrival at the central square of Velyki Mosty

  • Funeral ceremony will take place on the same day.

Community members are encouraged to join the live corridor of honor to bid farewell to the Hero who sacrificed his life for Ukraine’s future.
