The city mayor Andriy Zalivsky presented the ‘Honorary Citizen of Chervonohrad Territorial Community’ award to the daughter of the fallen Hero Bohdan Lema.
The award ceremony for the families took place on October 1, on the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, near the Memorial Complex ‘Fighters for Ukraine’s Freedom’. Since Bohdan Lema’s family could not be present on that day, the mayor presented the award today.
Soldier, medical rifleman of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great Bohdan Lema defended Ukraine from Russian invaders in the ATO/JFO zone. He passed away in May 2019.
