A devastating missile and drone strike hit the city of Ternopil, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, at least 9 people have been killed and dozens more injured.
Mayor Serhiy Nadal confirmed that several buildings in different parts of the city were damaged. Emergency services are actively working at the scene. A rescue operation is underway, with people still believed to be trapped under the rubble.
In the “Sonyachnyi” district, public transportation may be temporarily disrupted due to damage in the area.
The Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported that the chlorine concentration in the air exceeds the safe limit by six times. Residents are urged to stay indoors and keep windows closed to avoid exposure to hazardous chemicals.
