The Sheptytska community mourns the loss of one of its defenders — 26-year-old Lieutenant Pavlo Volodymyrovych Klymchuk was killed in action on December 31, 2025, near the village of Novoselivka in the Donetsk region.
Born in 1999, Lieutenant Klymchuk served as deputy commander of the anti-tank missile systems company for personnel psychological support within military unit A0989. He carried out his duties with courage and dedication until the very end.
His sacrifice in the defense of Ukraine’s independence will never be forgotten. The Sheptytska City Council and community extend their deepest condolences to Pavlo’s family and loved ones. We honor his memory and bow our heads in sorrow and respect.
