Sosnivka mourns the loss of one of its brave defenders — Nazar Volodymyrovych Kupetskyi, born in 1995, who passed away at the age of 28.
Nazar served in the 4th Assault Company of the 214th Separate Assault Battalion “OPFOR” and took part in combat operations in the Pokrovske direction, demonstrating courage and devotion to Ukraine.
On December 31, 2023, Nazar passed away in Sheptytskyi City Hospital after a long and severe illness.
Today, January 1, at 3:45 p.m., residents of Sosnivka are asked to form a living corridor along Lvivska Street to honorably welcome the fallen Hero as he is brought to the UGCC Church of Saints Peter and Paul. A memorial service will follow the procession.
The funeral and burial service for Nazar Kupetskyi will take place on January 2 at 12:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at the cemetery in the village of Vyazova.
We bow our heads in sorrow and gratitude before the Defender. Our condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. His sacrifice reminds us of the high price of our freedom and independence.
