40-year-old Roman Ihor Mykhailovych from Nakonechne 2 mourned in Yavoriv community

У Яворівській громаді прощаються з 40-річним Романом Ігорем Михайловичем

The Yavoriv community is once again grieving a heavy loss — another of its defenders has fallen, sacrificing his life for the freedom and peace of his native land.

Roman Ihor Mykhailovych was born on May 3, 1984, in the village of Nakonechne 2, Yavoriv district, and spent his entire life in the Lviv region.

  • He studied first at Nakonechne School, then at Novoyavorivsk Lyceum, where he trained as an auto mechanic.

  • A true master of his trade, he was well-known for helping people with car repairs, thanks to his skilled hands and ability to solve complex problems.

  • Roman was known for his kindness, sincerity, and ever-present smile. He loved life, cared deeply for children, and was always ready to help anyone in need.

The war changed his fate. On September 18, 2024, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Without hesitation, he defended his homeland, serving in the 425th Separate Assault Battalion “Skala” on the Pokrovske and Sumy fronts, fulfilling his duty with dedication.

He is survived by his daughter, parents, three sisters, and two brothers, all of whom now bear the unspeakable pain of this loss.

The Yavoriv City Council extends its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen Hero.

Details about the time and date of meeting the fallen Defender will be announced later.
