In Drohobych, the memory of warrior Roman Burda, who died defending Ukraine, was honored. The warrior voluntarily took up the defense of the Motherland in June 2024.
Roman Burda was born on April 6, 1971, in the village of Khatky. He graduated from the Stryi Vocational School and worked in Drohobych. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the National Guard of Ukraine.
His life ended on May 27, 2025, during a leave at home. He is survived by a son, brother, sister, and nephews.
The Drohobych City Council expresses its condolences: \”We mourn with you,\” said Mayor Taras Kuchma.
The funeral will take place tomorrow in the village of Khatky at 14:00. Eternal memory to the Hero of Ukraine!
