
The Dobrotvir community is once again grieving a heavy loss. Roman Ihorovych Melnyk, born in 1980, a brave son of Ukraine and defender of its freedom, has died in the war. His sacrifice for peace and independence will be remembered forever.
The funeral and farewell ceremonies will be held on April 1 in the town of Dobrotvir. The schedule is as follows:

11:00 AM – Memorial service near the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (OCU), Zhovtantsi village.

11:30 AM – Gospel reading near the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (OCU), Kamianka-Buzka city.

11:45 AM – Tribute at the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Memorial in Ruda village.

12:00 PM – Arrival of the fallen defender near the Saints Peter and Paul Church (OCU) in Dobrotvir. The funeral procession will proceed along Sahaidachnoho Street to his home at 21 Budivelna Street, where a memorial service will take place in the yard.

Afterwards, the procession will return on foot to the Saints Peter and Paul Church for the final farewell.

Burial will take place at the cemetery in Dobrotvir.
A community bus will depart at 11:00 AM from the administrative building of the Neznaniv Starostat.
Residents are urged to join and honor the memory of the fallen hero.
March 31 to April 2 have been declared Days of Mourning in Dobrotvir.
