Another sad news came to the Drohobych community from the front. Kostiantyn Shabanov was killed while defending Ukraine from the enemy.
The soldier’s family was forced to move to the Drohobych community with the outbreak of a full-scale war and has lived in Stebnyk since 2022.
Kostiantyn Shabanov was born in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. He graduated from the 98th school.
In April 2022, Kostyantyn and his family moved to Stebnyk, where he began to build his life from scratch.
In 2023, Kostiantyn joined the defense of Ukraine. The man was a UAV master and performed combat missions at the forefront.
The warrior died on July 7, 2024, as a result of a fire in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region.
The deceased soldier is survived by his wife, three daughters, grandson and sister.
The Drohobych City Council, its Executive Committee, Mayor Taras Kuchma, Council Secretary Orest Karakevych and the head of the Stebnytsia Starosta District Taras Horodysky express their sincere condolences to the family, relatives, friends and relatives of our countryman and Hero Kostiantyn Shabanov.
