Another terrible news burns our hearts with pain – a defender from the Lopatyn community, Dmytryshyn Bohdan Hryhorovych, born on 14.07.1974, was killed.
No words can soothe the burning pain of loss and heal the wounds in the hearts of the family. Dmytryshyn Bohdan lived and worked in the village of Khmilno. Hardworking, responsible, a patriot of his homeland. On 05.07.2024, he went to defend Ukraine.
He died near the village of Nyzhnia Syrovatka, Sumy district, Sumy region.
His parents are left without a loving son, his wife Natalia without a caring husband, and his sons Vadym and Oleh without a father.
Bohdan’s memory will be cherished by all those who knew him, worked alongside him, were his friends and dreamed of a happy future in a free country.
The entire Lopatyn community sincerely condoles with the family and friends of the fallen defender. Together with you, we bow our heads in deep sorrow…
Today, 09.05.2025, we are meeting the body of the deceased Bohdan near the bus stop in the village of Khmilno at 15.00.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, 10.05.2025, at 12.00.
