The municipal enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council “Protection of Lviv Region” has held another training course on the basics of national resistance for students of the separate structural subdivision “Mariupol Vocational College of the State Higher Educational Institution ‘Pryazovskyi State Technical University’.”
In August 2026, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Protection of Lviv Region” and the Mariupol Vocational College. Under the arrangements, the enterprise’s instructors provide both theoretical classes and practical training for students.
Acting Director of the enterprise Yaroslav Mandruk recalled that from 1 October 2026 an obligatory academic discipline, “Fundamentals of National Resistance”, is being introduced in higher education institutions and professional pre-higher education institutions.
“We understand that not all educational institutions have departments and teaching staff in this field. That is why, by agreement with the management of the educational institutions, our instructors conduct classes to prepare for national resistance,” noted Acting Director of “Protection of Lviv Region” Yaroslav Mandruk.
The programme implemented by “Protection of Lviv Region” includes 48 hours of training. The final stage of the course for students of the Mariupol Vocational College was field-based practical training at one of the training grounds in Lviv region. After successfully completing the training, participants were awarded certificates of course completion.
