A soldier from the village died defending Ukraine from the invaders. Kulychkiv Volodymyr Datskiv, born in 1969.
Volodymyr was a participant in hostilities and with the beginning of the war in Ukraine went to defend his native land from the enemy. Since 2008, he has been working as an underground miner at the conveyor transport section at the Lisova mine of Lvivvugilya State Enterprise. He was a participant in hostilities, and on the second day of the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, February 25, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces.
The whole community, the Hero’s wife and children, relatives and close people are in mourning.
