On the night of October 9, in the Odesa region, Ukrainian serviceman Andriy, a member of a mobile fire group within the air defense missile brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force, successfully destroyed four enemy Shahed-type attack drones. This was reported by the Air Force Command of Ukraine.
Andriy emphasized that this success was the result of well-coordinated teamwork:
“This is truly an impressive result for our team. It became possible thanks to constant improvement, combat resilience, and the determination of each member. When everyone knows what to do — we operate like a single, well-oiled machine,” he said.
Achievements of Andriy’s team:
-
4 Shahed drones destroyed on the night of October 9
-
Over 20 enemy UAVs taken down by the group
-
7 aerial targets personally eliminated by Andriy
Andriy joined the Armed Forces in 2023. Since then, he has participated in combat operations in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. As of early 2024, he has been defending the southern airspace of Ukraine.
“We are ready to continue defending our skies so that our families — and all of Ukraine — remain safe,” Andriy concluded.
