Mykola, a native of Sheptytsky, stood to defend Ukraine during the war.
At the start of the full-scale war, Mykola had already been living in Sumy for ten years, where he built a family and developed a business. On March 1, 2022, when Sumy was under siege, he took up arms, sending his wife and daughter to his hometown. In October 2023 near the village of Robotyne, Mykola was injured and now moves with a wheelchair.
“I am an active man and always on the move,” says Mykola. He often travels for rehabilitation and education, having decided to pursue new education. With the introduction of special transportation at the Warrior’s House, mobility has become easier and more comfortable.
