Defender Yaroslav Pylypchuk has returned home after a prisoner exchange
During today’s prisoner exchange, a defender from the Stryi district, Yaroslav Pylypchuk, has returned home. In the photo – in the middle below.
Service and Captivity History
The defender hails from the Zhuravnenska community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2023. He served in the airborne assault troops. In March 2024, he went missing during a combat mission near the settlement of Terny, in the Donetsk region. Shortly thereafter, his family was informed that he was in captivity.
