Today, another hero has returned to his homeland — Artem Vasylovych Tereshko from Belz, born in 1999. Artem, who took part in the heroic defense of Mariupol, had been considered missing since 2022.
Artem’s mother, Oksana, never gave up hope and tirelessly searched for her son during these challenging years. Tragically, his father, Vasyl Ivanovych Tereshko, a serviceman and participant in the ATO–JFO, passed away in February 2024 during rehabilitation after a stroke, without being reunited with his son.
We wish Artem a swift recovery and a speedy reunion with his family. His courage and resilience deserve the utmost respect.
During this festive season, when our hearts are filled with hope, we pray for all those still far from home, for those in captivity who have not lost their spirit. May every prisoner return home as soon as possible. May God protect our Heroes and grant them strength to endure all trials.
