The Kamianka-Buzka community has suffered a heartbreaking loss — Ivan Shaida, a soldier and resident of the village of Zabuzhzhia, was killed in action.
On October 29, 2025, during a combat mission near the village of Stavky in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, Ivan heroically gave his life defending Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
He stood his ground to the very end, courageously fulfilling his duty to the nation. Ivan Shaida’s bravery and sacrifice will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He is remembered as a symbol of patriotism, resilience, and dedication.
The Kamianka-Buzka City Council expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of the fallen Hero. We share in your grief and mourning.
