A defender from Lviv region was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree
In accordance with the order of the President of Ukraine, Stepan Soloviy, a resident of the village of Velykyi Liubin, was awarded an honorary badge.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Stepan fought as part of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. He died on August 18, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske, Donetsk region. The soldier was 30 years old.
Stepan Soloviy was also posthumously awarded the honorary “Golden Cross” badge by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
