President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to a soldier from the Sheptytskyi district who showed incredible resilience and courage during combat operations.
Lyubomyr Mikal, who serves in the 103rd Brigade, held his position for 42 days alongside his comrades while completely surrounded. As a result of fierce fighting, the soldiers eliminated about 30 Russian occupiers.
“Lyubomyr, thank you very much for everything you have done for our country. Lviv region is proud of you. Good health!” — the president emphasised in his address.
