Defender Vira Pionerska from Sheptytsky was awarded the Order of Princess Olga III degree. The high state award was presented to her by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Friends, I am honored to receive the award. I also gift the Supreme Commander-in-Chief the chevron of the organization that helped develop in me the most important value – the love for Ukraine,” – wrote Vira Pionerska on social media. The defender gifted the president the chevron of the ‘Building Ukraine Together’ organization.
For reference. ‘BUR’ was established in 2014 as a volunteer action to restore homes destroyed by the war in Eastern Ukraine.
