Tomorrow, there will be a meeting to honor the fallen defender of Ukraine, Roman Fedkiv.
During the defense of Ukraine against the enemy, the ranks of the heavenly hosts were joined by Roman Fedkiv from Drohobych. The warrior stood in defense of Ukraine since July 2022. Roman Fedkiv was born on April 20, 1981, in Drohobych. He studied at Secondary School No. 5, and later at VPU No. 15 to become a tiler-plasterer.
The warrior’s life was cut short on May 19, 2025, while serving and defending his native country. The defender is survived by his father. “The Drohobych City Council, its executive committee, the Mayor Taras Kuchma, and the council secretary Orest Karakevych express their sincere condolences to the family”.
The arrival time of the funeral procession with the body is expected tomorrow, May 22, at 1:00 PM. At 1:30 PM, there will be a citywide farewell on Rynok Square. The burial service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. The warrior will be buried in the Avenue of Glory.
