Born in 1998 in Lviv, she studied journalism at Lviv Polytechnic and joined the team of the Public Broadcasting Company in 2017. She also went on educational missions to talk about the events of the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war in schools in Donetsk region. She studied medicine at the White Berets special purpose medical unit and with American doctors, where she acquired basic skills. She gained more extensive practice in the Hospitallers.

Since 2020, she has been studying at the Kyiv School of Economics at the Public Policy and Governance programme. But she interrupted her studies on 24 February 2022 to save and protect. “Our values have ceased to be something wordy or symbolic. When we clean the car from the blood of the wounded, I feel as if I can hold freedom in my hands. Our independence is not priceless, and everyone who defends our country understands its value. The most important changes will come after the victory, only then will we understand whether such life-affirming changes really affect everyone or only the participants in the events.” – from an interview with Iryna Tsybukh, 2023.
