Tomorrow Lviv will say goodbye to four Heroes – Ihor Sachynskyi, Roland Kharaishvili, Serhiy Saushkin, Yuriy Ochkus died

Tomorrow, March 2, Lviv will say goodbye to four Heroes. Ihor Sachynskyi, Roland Kharaishvili, Serhiy Saushkin, Yuriy Ochkus died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremonies and refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

At 11:00 a.m., the funeral service of Igor Sachinsky, Serhiy Saushkin, and Roland Kharaishvili will begin, and at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square.

At 2:00 p.m., the funeral service of Yury Ochkus will begin, and at 2:30 p.m., a city farewell ceremony will be held on Rynok Square.

Heroes will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical references of Heroes

 

Yuri Ochkus (May 23, 1991-February 25, 2023). A native of Lviv.
He studied at the Institution of General Secondary Education No. 87 of the Lviv City Council named after Iryna Kalynets and Secondary Secondary School No. 27 of the city of Lviv named after the hero of the Heavenly Hundred, Yury Verbytskyi.

After finishing school, he worked in the private enterprise “Parkbud”.

With the beginning of Russian aggression, he joined the ranks of the “Right Sector” in defense of the Motherland, in 2015 he decided to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended the state as part of the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa of the operational command “East” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For his personal bravery, he was awarded numerous awards, in particular, the badge “Badge of Honor” of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the order “For Courage” III degree.

Yury Ochkus is survived by his parents, wife, son, two daughters, a brother and two sisters.

 

Roland Kharaishvili (07/02/1986-02/20/2023). Born in Rustavi (Georgia).
At first, he studied at an elementary school in Georgia, later at the Horliv secondary school of grades I-III No. 10 of the Horliv city council of the Donetsk region. He graduated from the Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus.

With the beginning of Russian aggression, he moved to Zaporizhzhia, then lived in Lviv. He worked in the private joint-stock company “Kyivstar” and the limited liability company “Progres D.F.” He was fond of sports and the latest technologies.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he volunteered to go to war. He fought against the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhets of the operational command “North” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Roland Kharaishvili is survived by his pregnant wife, parents and brother.

 

Serhiy Saushkin (May 15, 1985-February 22, 2023). A native of Lviv.
Studied at Secondary comprehensive school #61. Received vocational and technical education, later entered the Ukrainian Academy of Printing.

In his free time, he was fond of computer technologies.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he stood up to protect the Motherland from the Russian invaders. He fought with the invaders in the eastern direction in the ranks of the 46th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Serhiy Saushkin is survived by his mother.

 

Ihor Sachynskyi (16.02.1976-23.02.2023). A native of Lviv.
Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 40 of the city of Lviv. Graduated from Secondary Vocational School No. 50. Subsequently, he studied law at the Eastern Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dahl in the city of Feodosia.

After completing his studies, he served in the military in Kharkiv. During the last 5 years, he worked in the Republic of Poland.

With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he returned to Ukraine and joined the ranks of the territorial defense. He fought against the Russian invaders in the eastern direction in the ranks of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the “West” regional administration of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was wounded three times during combat missions, but returned to the front.

Igor Sachynsky is survived by his mother and brother.
