Tomorrow, Lviv will say goodbye to two Heroes who defended Ukraine

Tomorrow, November 29, Lviv will say goodbye to two more Heroes. Oleg Bervetskyi and Maksym-Mykhailo Vrubel died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders.

The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square. The soldiers will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Maxim-Mykhailo Vrubel (November 18, 1999-November 22, 2022) from Lviv.

 

He studied at the “Malyuk” elementary school of the Lviv City Council and secondary comprehensive school No. 63 of the city of Lviv.

He graduated from the separate structural unit “Automotive and Road Professional College” of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” with a specialty in “automotive business”. He was fond of cars.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine, he volunteered to defend the Motherland. Performed combat missions to deter Russian aggression in the ranks of the 7th Carpathian border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Maxim-Mykhailo Vrubel is survived by his parents, grandfather and sister.

 

Oleg Bervetskyi (05.11.1983-21.11.2022) was born in Lviv in a large family, he was the eldest of sons.

 

He studied at secondary comprehensive school No. 100 in the city of Lviv. He graduated from the higher vocational school No. 20 of the city of Lviv, later he studied at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” with a specialty of “mechanic engineer of the automobile industry”.

For 10 years, he worked as an engineer of the 1st category in the structural unit “Lvivenergoavtotrans” of the Private Joint Stock Company “Lvivoblenergo”. Additionally, he studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing.

He was fond of bicycle trips, mountain tourism, engaged in church singing.

On the first day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he defended the Motherland from the invaders. He defended its territorial integrity and sovereignty in the ranks of the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the operation to liberate the city of Lyman, Donetsk region.

Oleg Bervetsky is survived by his parents, sisters, brothers, wife and two sons.
