Tomorrow, Lviv will say goodbye to two Heroes: Yevhen Bondarenko and Yuriy Pastukh, who died in the fight against the Russian invaders

Tomorrow, July 27, Lviv will say goodbye to Heroes Yevhen Bondarenko and Yuriy Pastukh, who died in the fight against the Russian invaders. The funeral will be held in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, military servicemen will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and visitors to the city to join the farewell ceremony for the Heroes and to refrain from holding entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

At 11:00 a.m. the Funeral Rite will begin, and at 11:30 a.m. the City Farewell Ceremony for the Heroes (Rynok Square).

After the farewell ceremonies, the funeral processions will move to the Lychakiv cemetery following the route: Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul UGCC (Tetralna Street, 11) – sq. Cathedral – square Rynok (city farewell ceremony) – str. Ruska – st. Basement – str. Volodymyr Vinnichenko – square Soborna – st. Pekarska – st. Shimzeriv – str. Mechnikova – Lychakivskyi cemetery (field of honorable burials No. 86-А). Blue and yellow flags with a mourning ribbon will be hung on the buildings along the route of the convoy.

Evgeny Bondarenko (April 2, 1983-July 4, 2022) Born in Kharkiv. He studied at the Geniiv secondary school of I-III grades named after I.I. Protopopova. After completing his studies, he served in the military in the city of Shostka.

He was fond of sports and cooking. In peacetime, he worked as a cook in a supermarket and a senior security guard at the “ATB-Market” supermarket in the urban-type village of Slobozhanske. I dreamed of connecting my life with the construction industry.

With the beginning of Russian aggression, he went to war as a volunteer. In the fight against the invaders, he was wounded and captured. He was released in 2014.

Soldier. In 2017, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and underwent training in the Lviv Region. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he fought against the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Evgeny Bondarenko is survived by his loving wife, mother, sister and brother.

 

Yuriy Pastukh (January 2, 1983-July 13, 2022) Born in Lviv

 

Yurii Pastukh (January 2, 1983-July 13, 2022) was born in Lviv. He lived in the city of Chervonohrad, Lviv region. Studied at the Chervonohrad Educational Complex No. 10 of the Chervonohrad City Council.

He graduated from the Lviv College of Food and Processing Industry of the National University of Food Technologies.

With the beginning of Russia’s aggression, he volunteered to defend the Motherland, in 2014-2015 he performed combat missions in the area of ​​anti-terrorist operation.

After returning, he devoted himself to taking care of his grandmother.

Soldier. From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he went to war as a volunteer. He served in military service as part of military unit A7015.

Yuri Pastukh is survived by a sister, a niece, an uncle, an aunt and a grandmother.
