Tomorrow, Lviv will say goodbye to Hero Lubomir Seniv

Tomorrow, April 3, the Lviv community will say goodbye to Lyubomir Seniv, who died in battle while defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

The funeral service of Lubomir Seniv will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul in Lviv (11 Teatralna St.), at 2:30 p.m. a city farewell ceremony will be held on Rynok Square. The Hero will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

 

Biographical reference.

Lyubomyr Seniv (July 7, 1972-March 27, 2023) from Lviv.

Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 30. He graduated from the Lviv University of Trade and Economics (then the Institute).

After completing his studies, he completed his military service in Ternopil. In peacetime, he worked in the furniture and transport spheres at local private enterprises.

He was fond of breeding pigeons – this symbol of peace was for Lyubomir Seniv the work of his whole life.

From the first day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the territorial defense. He fought against the invaders as part of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the “West” regional administration of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He was devoted to military affairs, faithfully performed combat tasks to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.

Lyubomir Seniv is survived by his mother, wife, son, daughter and two sisters.
