Tomorrow, Lviv will say goodbye to three Heroes – Yuriy Koshovskyi, Oleksandr Korolchuk and Nazar Vyatrovych died in the battle with the occupiers

Tomorrow, December 13, Lviv will say goodbye to three more Heroes. Yurii Koshovskyi, Oleksandr Korolchuk, and Nazar Vyatrovych defended Ukraine from the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

The Heroes’ funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square.

Yury Koshovskyi and Oleksandr Korolchuk will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery, and Nazar Vyatrovich will be buried in Ryasny.

 

Biographical references of Heroes

Yuriy Koshovskyi (May 23, 2000-December 7, 2022). A native of Lviv.
He studied at the Lyceum named after Ivan Pulyu of the Lviv City Council. He graduated from the Interregional Higher Vocational School No. 57 of Road Transport and Construction of the City of Lviv.

He worked as a senior manager in the chain of stores “Bloods Vapes”. In his free time, he was fond of shooting.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Ukrainian army. He served in the ranks of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Took part in battles for the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

Yury Koshovsky is survived by his parents, grandmother, grandfather and sister.

 

Oleksandr Korolchuk (02.02.1986-11.04.2022). A native of the city of Starobilsk, Luhansk region.
He studied at the Starobil Lyceum No. 4 of the Starobil City Council of the Luhansk Region. He graduated from the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine with a specialty in “fire safety”.

He held the position of border service inspector of the highest category – head of the department of border service inspectors of the 3rd border detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevgeny Pikus of the Eastern Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine. In his free time, he practiced Thai boxing and was a candidate for master of sports.

Performed tasks in the area of anti-terrorist operations as part of units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he defended the country as part of the military unit of the same 3rd border detachment, later – the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For his personal merits, he was awarded numerous awards, in particular the Order “For Courage” III degree.

Oleksandr Korolchuk is survived by his parents, wife, daughter and brother.

 

Nazar Vyatrovych (October 6, 1996-December 5, 2022). A native of Lviv.
Studied at Secondary Secondary School No. 92 of the city of Lviv. He graduated from the State Educational Institution “Higher Vocational School No. 29 of the City of Lviv” with the specialty “cook-waiter”.

In peacetime, he worked in the restaurant industry.

During 2016-2019, he performed combat missions in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Operation of the United Forces as part of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo of the operational command “West” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After returning to civilian life, he worked as a mechanic. He was fond of cars.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the state, the terrorist fought against the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilinskyi of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nazar Vyatrovich is survived by his parents, wife, son and sister.
