city-adm.lviv.ua reports that on Tuesday, March 3, a farewell will be held in Lviv for three servicemen who gave their lives defending Ukraine. The city administration urges residents and guests to join the ceremony and refrain from celebrations.
The funeral service for the soldiers will begin at 11:00 at the Garrison Church of Sts. Peter and Paul. A city-wide farewell ceremony will tentatively take place at 11:30 on Rynok Square. The defenders will be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery, in the field of honorable burials No. 87.
Mykhailo-Viktor Stsilnikov was a resident of Lviv who worked in the IT sector and joined the defense of Ukraine at the onset of the Russian invasion. He fought in the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Donetsk directions. He is survived by his wife and family.
Ihor Parankevych, a resident of Lviv, was the director of a woodworking plant. He defended the Donetsk direction since 2025. He is survived by his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Stepan Sapsha was born in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. He worked in construction and was passionate about sports. He joined the defense of the Motherland in 2024, protecting the Donetsk direction. He is survived by his family.
