Tomorrow, July 15, Lviv will bid farewell to serviceman Yaroslav Chayka, who gave his life protecting Ukraine from Russian occupiers.
The city council urges residents and guests of the city to join the city farewell ceremony and refrain from entertainment activities and celebrations during this time. The farewell to the warrior will begin at 12:30 at the Heroes Alley in Vynnyky.
At 14:00, the funeral service will take place at the Garrison Church of Saints Apostles Peter and Paul in Lviv.
Following this, approximately at 14:30, there will be a citywide farewell ceremony at Market Square.
The defender will be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery, at the Field of Honorary Burials of modern Heroes.
