Today at 7:00 p.m., the funeral service (parastas) for Hero Rostislav Maibuk will begin in his parents’ house in the village of Hirnyk.
In the fight against the Russian aggressor on July 28 in Donetsk region, Rostyslav Maibuk, a former employee of the “Mezhirichanska” mine, died in defense of Ukraine.
Tomorrow, August 1, at 10:30 a.m., a mournful procession will leave Hirnyk for the village of Volitsa of the Rava-Ruska community, where the funeral ceremony will take place. Rostyslav Maibuk will be buried at the cemetery in the village of Volitsa.
Rostislav Yaroslavovich Maibuk was born on December 27, 1989. In 2011-2021, he worked at the coal mining section and other sections of the Mezhirichanska mine of the Lviv Coal State Enterprise. He lived in the village of Hirnyk, Chervonograd district, Lviv region. Took part in ATO in 2015-2016. Participant in hostilities. From the first days of the full-scale war, he stood up for the defense of Ukraine.
