‘The cortege with the body of the fallen Defender Melnyk Volodymyr Andriyovych will be met tomorrow, 02.18.2026, at 11:00 AM.’ – announce the organizers. Residents of the city of Radekhiv are asked to come to the Heavenly Hundred stele and along Lvivska – Stoyanivska streets to the statue of Jesus Christ. They are to form a live corridor to pay respect and honorably accompany the Warrior on his final journey to the village of Yastrybychi.
After the farewell in the village of Yastrybychi, the cortege with the body of the fallen Hero will proceed to his homeland — the village of Telyazh in the Sokal city territorial community. The funeral ceremony of the Defender will take place on Thursday, 02.19.2026, at 11:00 AM in the village of Telyazh.
