Honoring the Memory of Oleksandr Ivanchuk in Sheptytskyi

An event will be held in Sheptytskyi to honor the memory of 21-year-old Ukrainian Defender Oleksandr Ivanchuk.

Tomorrow, on the anniversary of Oleksandr Ivanchuk’s death, events will be held in his honor. At 12:30 PM a car rally will begin from Vicheva Square to Bendyuzke Cemetery. At 1:00 PM there will be a memorial service at the cemetery, and at 2:00 PM – a memorial evening at the “Source of Love” space.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr did not stay aside. Despite his young age, he decided to defend Ukraine. Waiting for him at home were his younger brother, grandmother, aunt, and beloved girlfriend, but for him, the most important thing was to stop the enemy and protect his native land.

“Sasha loved life, dreamed, made plans, was sincere, kind, courageous, and brave. The highest value for him was the life of a brother-in-arms — saving him, he gave his own. Despite his young age, his devotion to the military oath, courage, and self-sacrifice became an example of a true warrior,” his family remembers the Hero.

On November 18, 2024, during a combat mission near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, Oleksandr Ivanchuk was killed, showing courage and loyalty to the oath to his last breath.
