Maria Dykhtyar, a resident of the village of Borok, was awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree

On October 2, a resident of the village of Borok – Maria Volodymyrivna DYKHTYAR was awarded the order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree by the Presidential Decree for personal courage shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty.

She received the award in the combat zone from the hands of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

Last year, Maria was also honored, according to the Presidential Decree, she was awarded the medal “For a life saved”. She is one of the first women volunteers who dared to leave everything in a peaceful life and go to serve for the sake of saving the defenders of Ukraine. She was a member of the ATO, for three years – the head of the medical service in the 25th separate motorized infantry battalion “Kyivska Rus”. She saved hundreds of lives of her comrades, sometimes she took the boys out of shelling, risking her own life.

In peaceful life, Maria Volodymyrivna works as a doctor. In the first days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Maria Dykhtyar again went to work as a military medic, now serves in the active combat zone, rescuing wounded Heroes every day.

At home, in the village of Borok, her mother, Ivanna Mykhailivna, and son Volodymyr are waiting for her. We are proud of our compatriots. We look forward to victory!
