On June 21, Lviv will celebrate Make Music Day for the 13th consecutive year, joining more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries in this global music initiative. This year’s edition emphasizes a charitable mission — inviting local residents, musicians, businesses, and visitors to share music and support Ukraine’s defenders.
🔹 Event format and purpose
The 2025 Music Day will take place not only at public venues around the city, but also in military hospitals and rehabilitation centers. The goal is to uplift the morale of wounded soldiers and support their psychological recovery through live music performances.
Last year, the event brought together 138 performers across 52 locations and raised nearly UAH 600,000 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Organizers aim to surpass this achievement in 2025 by involving even more artists, venues, and partners.
