The 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo, stationed in Lviv Oblast, will open its recruiting center in Lviv on Monday, April 8. The center will become operational with the assistance of the Lviv City Council.
“The 24th OMBr named after King Danylo invites everyone who wants to liberate the territory of our state from the occupiers to join the professional team!” – the brigade notes.
It should be noted that the 24th separate mechanized brigade is one of the most experienced mechanized units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and its soldiers have been through the hottest points of the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014.
In 2014, the brigade liberated Krasniy Liman, Yampil, Zakitne, Siversk, Zarichne, Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. The unit met a full-scale invasion in Luhansk region, was one of the first to liberate the southern territories of Ukraine during the counteroffensive in 2022, held the defense of the city of Bakhmut and still performs combat missions in one of the eastern directions.
The address of the recruiting center will be announced later.
We will remind you that the first recruiting center of the Ukrainian army in Ukraine is already operating in Lviv, as well as the recruiting centers of the special purpose brigade of the Azov State Military University, the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Lviv 103rd brigade of the Military Defense Forces and the Da Vinci Wolves battalion.
