The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and the Red Cross of Ukraine are implementing a joint project to support war veterans who received a disability of the I or II group as a result of the war, namely the provision of monetary assistance in the amount of 16 thousand hryvnias to war veterans who received a disability of the I or II group as a result of the war.
The project applies to adult citizens of Ukraine who, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”, have been granted the status of a person with a disability as a result of the war of the I or II group, and whose information is entered in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. Persons with disabilities as a result of the war of the I or II groups will be able to receive cash assistance in a one-time payment to the applicant’s bank account in the amount of 4,000 hryvnias per month. Payments will be made within four months, regardless of whether they receive other types of assistance.
