Rescuers extinguished 6 dry vegetation fires in Lviv Oblast on 17 August
The fire destroyed everything in its path.
Hot weather and dry conditions create ideal conditions for the rapid spread of fire. Fires in such conditions can threaten not only the environment, but also human life and property.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast once again reminds of the prohibition of dry grass burning.
Setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law in the form of a fine:
* for citizens from UAH 3,060 to UAH 6,120;
* for officials from UAH 15,300 to UAH 21,420.
