Since May 1, 2022, 8.8 million Ukrainian households have been connected to the register of the Gas Supply Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, which received gas from the “last hope” supplier (PON), in accordance with the “Fixed” annual tariff plan with one of the most favorable prices on the market — UAH 7.96/cubic. m (with VAT, without the cost of transportation). There is no need to conclude additional contracts, because the transition took place automatically. We answer the most common questions.
How to get a personal account number?
At the new gas supplier, subscribers have a different personal account number. It can be found out in several ways:
on the page of the gas.ua website, select the section “Find out the account number”;
in GASUA chats in Viber, Telegram and Facebook;
on the payments of the Gas Supply Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”;
by calling the contact center at (066) 300-2-888; (098) 300-2-888; (093) 300-2-888.
You need to enter the EIC code for identification. This is the personal gas number of the gas supply facility, which consists of 16 characters (Latin letters and numbers). For example, 56XM19A205987456. It can be found in your personal account, the contact center of your regional gas company, or in the bill for the distribution or supply of gas. You can also find out the EIC code from the former supplier or from the regional gas office.
Who should pay bills for consumed gas? On May 1, 2022, more than 8.8 million Ukrainian households received gas from Naftogaz. That is why bills for consumed gas in the previous period must be paid to GC Naftogaz of Ukraine. How will you receive a bill for consumed gas in May?

to e-mail (e-mail);
by Ukrposhta after the 25th of the current month, only in those regions where there are no active hostilities.
How to pay for gas?
Online:
in the personal account at my.gas.ua;
in the GASUA chatbot in Viber, Telegram and NaftogazGasSupply Facebook Messenger;
through websites and mobile applications of banks;
using payment systems (Portmone, LiqPay, EasyPay, iPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Offline:
through self-service payment terminals;
in any branch of the bank;
through Ukrposhta or Nova poshta branches.
How to check account status? (how much must be paid / reconciliation)
You can go to my.gas.ua personal account or use GASUA chatbots in “Viber” or “Telegram” and create a certificate about the account status. This can be done in the “Online Services” section (“Documents” option). Those who do not have access to the Internet can call the company’s contact center.
How to return an overpayment to a previous supplier
The owner of a personal account (household) must apply to the old supplier for a refund of the overpaid amount and attach a package of documents:
Payment receipt;
Bank details of the owner of the personal account (for PON customers – bank details of the payer), in IBAN format, who made the payment, to which the funds will be transferred;
A copy of the identification code;
Copy of pages 1 and 2 of the passport.
All copies of documents must be certified by the consumer, namely contain the inscription “According to the original”, date and signature. Documents can be delivered in person or sent by mail, including to the supplier’s email box. The money must be returned within 14 calendar days, but in the conditions of martial law this period may be longer.
Where to transfer gas meter readings?
In the future, it is necessary to transmit readings to your timing operator (oblgaz) between the 1st and 5th of each month.
Who is a timing operator (oblgaz)?
Operators of the gas distribution network (oblgaz) are state-owned companies that deliver gas to consumers. Responsibilities of oblgaz – connecting / disconnecting blue fuel, ensuring gas quality and pressure, responding to emergency calls, eliminating accidents and obtaining meter readings. You receive and pay a separate bill for the provision of these services.
You can transfer the readings to your timing operator (oblgaz) in one of the following ways:
• on the website or in the chatbot of your regional gas company
• by calling the contact center of your regional gas company
According to the legislation of Ukraine, our company does not have the right to receive indications regarding gas consumption from the consumer. This function is entrusted to the operators of the timing system (oblgaz). That is why you will receive two payments for gas:
1) for the delivery / distribution of gas (from the timing operator)
2) for consumed gas (from the supplier – Naftogaz of Ukraine)
GC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” is a natural gas supplier company, to which you pay for the volume of gas actually consumed. Therefore, it is very important to us that you give the readings to your timing operator on time and correctly, so that we can make the correct charges in your payment.
