Under the procedural guidance of the Pustomyty District Prosecutor’s Office, a 56-year-old resident of Horodok has been charged with murder under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Details of the Crime
According to the investigation, the incident occurred in Horodok, where the suspect, while at the residence of a 44-year-old acquaintance, committed an attack. The two men had been consuming alcohol, which escalated into an argument. During the altercation, the suspect assaulted the victim and strangled him. Following the crime, the suspect fled the scene.
Law enforcement authorities swiftly apprehended the suspect.
Preventive Measure
At the prosecutor’s request, the court imposed the strictest preventive measure on the suspect – custody without the possibility of bail.
Investigation Progress
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative department of Police Division No. 1 of Lviv District Police Administration No. 2 under the Main Directorate of the National Police of the Lviv Region.
