Part four of Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” provides for the annual recalculation of pensions from April 1 for persons who, after the appointment (preliminary recalculation) of pensions continued to work and acquired the necessary insurance experience.
This was reported in the press service of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Lviv region.
Pension recalculation is carried out:
- without additional appeal of the person to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- persons who after the appointment (preliminary recalculation) of pensions continued to work and acquired at least 24 months of insurance experience after the appointment (preliminary recalculation) of pensions, or less
- than 24 months of insurance experience, but after the appointment (preliminary recalculation) of pensions passed at least two years.
“The right to recalculation determines the insurance period acquired in February this year. The recalculation of pension benefits is carried out according to the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance on the basis of reports submitted by policyholders on the payment of a single contribution. Taking into account the fact that insurers submitted reports for the first quarter of 2022 to the Register until May 10, the recalculation of working pensioners is carried out in May. The payment of these pensions will be made starting in June and with a surcharge for April and May, “said the Pension Fund.
