The traffic accident happened on July 6 around 12:30 p.m. on Shevchenko Street in the city of Pustomyty.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, a 17-year-old man from Lviv, driving a Honda motorcycle, hit a pedestrian – a 15-year-old resident of one of the neighboring villages. As a result of the collision, the girl received bodily injuries, in particular, a broken leg, and was taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, investigators of police department No. 3 of Lviv district police department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
