
The communities of the villages of Verkhnia Rozhanka and Oporets celebrated the patronal feast in honour of the holy apostles Peter and Paul. On this day, the faithful gathered in the local churches to pray and pay tribute to their heavenly patrons.
On the occasion of the feast, greetings were extended to the parish priest of the church in the village of Verkhnia Rozhanka, Father Yaroslav Levytskyi, and to the parish priest of the church in the village of Oporets, Father Ruslan Semkiv. The priests were wished God's blessing, robust health, spiritual steadfastness, peace and goodness for their communities.
The greetings stressed that this feast is meant to bring harmony, prosperity, love and God's grace into the homes of parishioners, as well as to strengthen people's faith and unity.
Special good wishes were also extended to all those celebrating their Name Day. Those bearing the names Petro and Pavlo were wished good health, happiness, family comfort, God's protection and peaceful skies over Ukraine.
