A hieromonk from the Lviv region, Makariy Dutka, has set two Ukrainian records in powerlifting.
During the Ukrainian Cup, he lifted 212.5 kg and 215 kg, which have been officially recorded as records. Father Makariy has repeatedly represented the Lviv region in national competitions. He not only achieves sports milestones but also actively supports the army—dedicating each of his records to the Defenders of Ukraine and organizing fundraisers for military needs. This time, his goal is to purchase a dome REP for the Security Service of Ukraine.
