
At the invitation of the local hierarchs, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius, visited the new building of the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre on Pekarska Street and performed its consecration.
After the service, the Metropolitan spoke with the servicemen who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the centre. It is emphasised that for many wounded Defenders, spiritual care is an important component of their recovery.
The new UNBROKEN building has recently begun operating. It can simultaneously provide rehabilitation for 55 servicemen who were wounded while defending Ukraine.
As part of the visit, Metropolitan Epiphanius also laid the foundation for the future church of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, which is planned to be built on the grounds next to the rehabilitation centre.
