Yesterday on Mount Makivka, a commemoration took place in honour of the fallen soldiers who have become symbols of courage and self-sacrifice of the Ukrainian forces. This event gathered dozens of people: local residents, youth, community representatives, and guests. They come here annually to pay tribute to those who stood for Ukraine’s freedom.
The acting head, Oleg Danylyak, noted that “the commemoration on Makivka is not just about the past. It is about the responsibility of the present, understanding the cost of freedom, and those thanks to whom we have the right to build the future. We remember. We honour. We value.”
