On Wednesday, 25 March, the Lviv Region will commemorate the 27th anniversary of the death of Hero of Ukraine Vyacheslav Chornovil. This event is significant for the residents of the region, as his contribution to Ukraine’s independence is hard to overestimate. This was reported by the Lviv Regional State Administration.
At 10:00, flowers and candles will be laid at the monument to Vyacheslav Chornovil, located in the “Na Valakh” park on Vynnychenko Street, 16. The Director of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Yura Horun, noted that much of what Chornovil said was extraordinarily farsighted, and today, in times of war, his words are more relevant than ever.
